Lazio are deep in negotiations with Salernitana for Loum Tchaouna and are hoping to finalise a deal within the next month.

The Biancocelesti are gearing up to lose Felipe Anderson and Luis Alberto in the summer and could also say goodbye to Pedro, forcing Claudio Lotito and Angelo Fabiani to find a few replacements to bolster Igor Tudor’s frontline.

Lazio have been in close contact with Salernitana for the last few weeks, trying to set up a double deal for both Tchaouna and Boulaye Dia, but things have started to stall for the latter due to his resistance regarding the idea of being the third-choice striker in Rome.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Lazio and Salernitana are close to agreeing terms for a deal for Tchaouna, who has an estimated market value of around €10 million. The 40% future resale clause attached following his move from Stade Rennais has increased the price a little.

It wasn’t enough to scare off the Biancocelesti, however, who believe he’s an electric talent that’ll slot perfectly into Tudor’s squad in the capital.
