With the NFL Draft in the books and free agency basically done, we know look on to the thick of the Buffalo Bills offseason.
However, it won't be long until we get excited as the 2024 schedule will be coming out very soon, potentially within the next two weeks.
Without any further ado, let's get to all that we know about the 2024 Bills schedule, including potential primetime showdowns, revenge games, key matchups, and much more!
During the 2024 NFL Draft, the league teased the league schedule for the upcoming season will be released in May. Although no exact date was announced, expectations are for it to come out in the middle of May, as it was released on May 12 in 2022 and May 11 in 2023.
We'll update this post with the Bills' exact schedule once it becomes official.
Last year, the Bills received six primetime games. Although I think that could be lower in 2024, this team is quarterbacked Josh Allen, so I'm listing five games as perfect primetime viewing candidates ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
Last year, the Bills got six games in Primetime and I'd expect the same to happen this time around.
Bills vs. Jets: This is my pick for Week 1 for the Bills. I think the NFL runs it back on primetime after having the Aaron Rodgers Monday Night blow up four plays into Rodgers' season. We all deserve the opportunity to make that moment right in our memories.
Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs: No one wants this game to be played at 4:25 PM ET and we know it. Give us three hours of Mahomes vs. Allen under the lights.
Bills @ Texans: I strongly believe the NFL will do its best to get C.J. Stroud as much as possible on primetime TV. The Bills make perfect sense thanks to the Stefon Diggs narrative after he was traded to Houston.
Bills @ Patriots: Somewhat of a wild guess here but Drake Maye could lead to primetime games for New England and could make even more sense early in the year to hype up the rookie.
Bills @ Ravens: Lamar Jackson, a two-time MVP, versus Josh Allen would be must-watch TV.
Additionally, it feels like a Week 18 game versus the New England Patriots makes the most sense, by the way.
Based on Warren Sharp's Strength of Schedule rankings (pre-draft), the Bills' schedule is 23rd in the NFL (32nd being the toughest). That's a big difference compared to the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins, who both rank in the Top 8.
